Since 1990, Dr. Lynn Owens has dedicated her career to promoting mindfulness and holistic chiropractic healing. Our practice approaches each individual with empathy and attentiveness, aiming to guide them toward a healthier and more productive lifestyle through gentle chiropractic care.

Rather than treat problems after they arise, our chiropractic care involves facilitating the natural flow of energy from the spinal cord and nerves through the rest of the body. Dr. Owens recognizes that the body comes with natural healing capabilities, and the role of a chiropractor is to remove any blockages to optimize those. 

Methods of Chiropractic Treatment

Dr. Owens utilizes diverse techniques to keep patients moving like a well-oiled machine. Our primary methods of chiropractic care include the following:

  • Manual manipulation: this technique involves hands-on adjustments of the spine or other joints, possibly with the assistance of a drop table
  • Activator technique: using a small tool, this technique delivers soft, targeted thrusts to pinpointed areas along the spine or extremities 
  • SOT (Sacro Occipital Technique): after an initial assessment, blocks and/or wedges are used to realign your pelvis with the assistance of gravity as the slow force of correction
  • Softwave tissue regeneration: taking the focus away from the joint itself, we target problem areas or knots in your muscles to prevent any pain and resistance of natural movement. 
  • Interferential muscle stimulation: the application of electric currents to muscles has a pain-relieving effect and pumps fresh blood to areas where it is needed for healing
